A little background music please..

Back in the early 1970s our founder built the first of many railroads in his backyard. The backyards have been relocated several times and have grown extensively ever since. In 1997 construction on the 15" gauge locomotives and rolling stock was begun and in 1999  construction on the 15" gauge Victory Mountain Railroad Park was initiated. Because the project was basically a one man job the roadbed and track which includes over 5000 feet of mainline took over five years to complete.

The first public hauling operations were started in 2003 and running in 2004 was limited due to a busy construction schedule throuhout the summer. Throughout 2005 work on the facilities progressed and in 2006 we operated the park over the summer and had many groups and visitors enjoy our facility.

The cost of tickets provides for the operating costs necessary to keep the park running. You may notice during your trip on our railroad the various elements of the park that continue to be added as the construction of a hobby project like this takes a lifetime to evolve into the vision the builder has in mind. Although thousands of hours have gone into the project it is still in it's infancy.

The park is an exhibition of the art of modeling as well as a quasi theatrical presentation.

Watch this site for some photos and other info which reflects the tens of thousands of hours of sometimes backbreaking work which went into the project.
